Mandi and Gerald were married on a beautiful day at the Woodruff Fontaine house in the Victorian Village. I think one of the things that made this wedding special was that you could tell that everyone had spent so much time and effort to make it a great day for the bride and groom- there were so many personalized touches on everything! This was a fun group to photograph, and judging by the reception pictures, it looks like everyone else had a great time as well!

Stacy and Ed were married just outside Knoxville, TN at the gorgeous, gorgeous Creekwalk Inn at Whisperwood Farms in the mountains. Everything was picturesque- the huge forsythia, the sloping mountains, the intimate cabin where the ceremony took place. They even had a horse and carriage to take them from the ceremony to the reception. Talk about a fairy tale!

Stephanie and Cory were married at the Balinese Ballroom in downtown Memphis- I have no idea what is Balinese about it, but it is a great site for weddings. They have this amazing exposed brick upstairs, plus plenty of room both up and downstairs for weddings and receptions. Stephanie and Cory saw each other for the first time at the Marriott down the street and then they took the trolley down Main Street to the site. The trolley driver wanted $1 per person for us to get on the trolley- what?? Who carries around cash in their bridesmaid dress?? Anyway, we handed them 20 bucks and he let us all ride down the street. He was not so happy about us taking pictures on and off the trolley, but whatever. The wedding was lovely, and the reception was great. There are so many pictures of people dancing (always a sign of a good wedding!) Oh and they were married by Father Ken of Ministers in a Minute, the same person who married us! Must be good luck

Mandi and Gerald’s engagement photos were so very Memphis. We started the afternoon at Sun Studios (dodging the tour groups and trying to stay out of their way!), and finished the day downtown at the river right around sunset. Perfect.

Mike and Stephanie are ridiculously adorable together. For this session, we them down by Martyr’s Park and first took some pictures on a bridge across Riverside. Then we moved to Beale and finally to Court Square. Stephanie’s eyes are amazing.. and check out those blue shoes!!!
